Good Shepherd Central School (GSCS), Belagavi was established on 1st June 2009 with a vision to provide quality education to students in Belagavi and the surrounding areas. What began as a small school with Nursery to Standard III has steadily grown into an institution serving students up to Standard X.

Good Shepherd Central School started its journey with around 150 students, five classrooms and classes from Nursery to Standard III. Over the years, the school expanded both academically and in terms of student strength.

Today, GSCS has grown to approximately 700 students and 10 classrooms, offering education from Nursery to Standard X. The teaching faculty has also expanded from 26 to 40 members, supporting the school’s growing academic requirements.

The natural growth of the institution eventually led to the school reaching the Standard X level, marking an important milestone in its educational journey.
