The RLS PU college in Belgaum is one of the most sought after colleges in the district.

The college was established in 1935 as the science wing of Lingaraj College.

In 2002, the PU section of the college was bifurcated from the degree college and named Raja Lakhamagouda Pre-University college of Science.

The college has stood the test of time and has been delivering education par excellence since its inception.

Infrastructure and Facilities:

The infrastructure of the college is set in global standards. The college is a benchmark for all Pre university colleges in the district.

The college has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are located within the college campus.

The hostels have comfortable boarding and lodging facilities. Each block is under the direct supervision of hostel wardens who are in charge of maintaining discipline in the campus

There are separate laboratory rooms for physics, chemistry, biology and computers.

The RLS PU college campus has an in house swimming pool and other sports facilities.

The RLS PU college has a seminar hall and amphitheatre for hosting various functions and activities like guest lectures, cultural activities and intercollege events.

PCMC – Physics | Chemistry | Mathematics | Computers

English is a compulsory language in the college, with kannada or hindi as the optional choices.
