ABOUT US

St. Mary’s High School was started in 1991 at Garvebavipalya, Bangalore. Though the place was a village those days, now it is at the center of the Bangalore City. It had a humble and simple beginning with a few students and a teacher.

Mr. Mathew Thenakara and his wife Late.Mrs. Mary Mathew felt the necessity of a good school in that locality during those days to provide quality education. The school was recognised by the Govt. Of Karnataka during 1995-96 and it started functioning in its own beautiful building during June 2016. It was the fruit of the hard work and co-operation of the management and parents.

At present, their daughter, Ms.Nimmie M, is taking the school forward with her excellent leadership qualities and making it reach new heights. Currently, she is the vice principal of the school.

St. Mary’s School aims at the moral, intellectual, social, psychological and physical development of the pupils irrespective of their caste and creed. Here the students are encouraged to be value-conscious and they are motivated to follow the eternal values of truth and devotion to achieve the real knowledge. They come out in flying colours after completing S.S.L.C Exams every year. After their higher studies we are proud to say that many are in higher positions in society.
