About Us

It was on October 6th 2010 a long cherished dream saw the light of day. The foundation stone was laid for the new venture of starting a Pre – University College at the request of the stakeholders.  The structure was completed and the College took its birth in the academic year 2012-’13.  As per the needs of the students college offered Science stream with – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology (PCMB) and Commerce with Economics, Business studies, Accountancy & Basic Mathematics (EBA BM).  College started with 34 admissions and today the strength stands at 300 students. 

Needless to say the college has well qualified, experienced and committed full time faculty.  The college also employs outstanding visiting faculty.  Results are a proof of the quality of the faculty.   Commerce has 100% results with a majority of students securing distinction. Our science results too are close to cent percent with many distinctions and first classes.

The management of the college believes in providing holistic education to the students. It caters to the intellectual, psychological, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of the students. The staff takes keen personal interest in the students’ performance and wellbeing.  The student mentorship creates a conducive atmosphere for both the students and the parents to interact with the staff and apprise themselves of their wards performance.

Our education goes beyond the class room teaching.  Organizing inter collegiate debate competition, public speaking, talent contest, provide career counseling,  seminars and Guest lectures, CET, NEET & JEE Coaching.

We are proud of the fact that St. Paul’s is the only Pre-University College in the Davangere District to hold intercollegiate Science and Commerce exhibition with  working models and  host a Cultural Fest with a difference.  Folk art and folk songs are an integral part of learning.  Students learn Janapada,  Bhavageethe & classical music.  Yoga and other exercises of physical fitness are a daily feature.

Training & Participation in Sports is our specialty. Students have done credibly at the Taluk and District level. Our students have represented at the State and National level.  In a short span of time St. Paul’s has achieved a lot and we move on.
