Santhome P.U College has set effective educational interventions to focus on the younger generation. The students here are the privileged class who go through accomplished training in interdisciplinary skills in all areas of academia.

Each student grows and transforms him/ herself to make life meaningful and livable Each programme here his comprehensive to provide with sufficient inputs and training in relevant skills sets to succeed in the Pre-University education. Apart from providing core inputs corresponding to the specific program, the students (collegiates) are also exposed to the inter disciplinary areas. Added to this, students are trained for competitive exams, and to increase their competence in communication skills, reasoning skills, critical, creative thinking capabilities and a capacity to drive for continuous self learning towards individual development. It caters to various professional skills, promote value promoted life style, develop and enhance the potential of the students and ingrain in them the ideals of social equality, service, discipline and respect.

Facilities

Santhome Public School is well equipped today with well-furnished study halls, outfitted laboratory for earth and life science, physics, chemistry to assist experiential learning, multimedia computer lab to enhance the young minds to step into the world of electronic and digital system with full confidence and competence, enriched library facilities, committed squad of teachers, well extended campus, advanced means of teaching, all-inclusive and ample curriculum, excellent means of transportation and unsullied and unblemished atmosphere.

Physics Lab : To help the young minds glow with full power, enthusiasm and energy for new innovations and inventions, classroom has become a centre of various laboratories.

Chemistry Lab : Chemistry lab is big and spacious and can accommodate around 30 students at a time. It is well lit and airy keeping in mind the fumes of chemicals and the acids used for experiments. It is well equipped and has the modern infrastructure needed to create and sustain interest of students.

Computer Lab : The school has a well maintained computer lab. All the machines are networked and has access to internet. This computer lab provides fast and easy access to vast amount of information in a variety of formats.

Biology Lab : Biology Lab is spacious. It is well equipped with charts, models specimens, etc. Permanent slides include cytology, animal tissues, plant tissues, reproduction and micro organism. There is also a garden with flowers, trees and other herbal plants for botanical practicals and a small pond for aquatic studies. Biology lab provides best place for students to learn the topics by doing it.

School Library : A well stocked library is provided to the young minds to broaden their horizons. Latest books on various subjects and a good number of magazines are available based on the subjects taught.

Courses Offered

The Pre-University program offered here is in accordance with the Karnataka P.U. Board.

The education system of plus two, marks the beginning of specialization in the pursuit of higher learning. It facilitates the students to choose their respective field of interest from among two major academic streams of Science and Commerce.
