VIDYADAYINEE ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL is established in 1991 by Hindu Vidydayinee Sangha [R] – Surathkal. The school has been provided with all necessary infra structural facilities and dedicated staffs over the years. The school has been doing very well in imparting quality education to the children in Karnataka State Syllabus. The school has established a bench mark by getting 100% results several times in SSLC public examination and secured rank at state level couple of times. The school is at the portal of 25 years of its useful existence.
Now,Vidyadayinee English Medium School is affiliated to the CBSE Board New Delhi. The formal function of the inauguration was held on 03-06-2017 at Vidyadayinee Diamond Jubilee Auditorium Sri. M. Venkat Rao , Secretary of H.V.Sangha presided over the function. Mr. Gururaj Karjagi M.Sc. Ph.D. , Chairman Academy for Creative Teaching Pvt. Ltd. India, Bengaluru was the chief guest . In his address he called upon the parents to inculcate spiritual value and Indian culture among children. Prof. K. Balakrishna Bhat , correspondent V.E.M.S. , Sri Shikanth Chiplunkar, Rtd.Principal V.E.M.S., PTA President and V.G.O.S. Association were also present.

Facilities

Computer Lab:A computer lab with PC  with high configuration and high speed internet access to help the students to have knowledge at their fingertips. To enhance the knowledge of the students they are taught the latest software

Library:The School has a well-resourced library with a variety of periodicals, journals, magazines, newsletters, fiction, reference books and volumes of encyclopaedias. This builds on the literary competency of the learners, which is a strong feature of our reading programme. Students are encouraged to use the library for reading, creative writing and preparing book reviews and projects.

Laboratory:A well equipped science Lab which helps the students to put theory into practice.

Smart Class:Further empowering education on innovative digital learning technology which includes on interactive class room learning has been introduced where in teachers can utilize various digital aids to assist in the teaching process. It encourages active learning, making teaching a fun process and helping the child in retention of the same for a longer period.

Sports and Games:We have an array of excellent sports facilities, which include cricket, volleyball, football, Shuttle badminton, Hockey, Kabaddi. More physical activities are ensured as a part of the academic programmes. Every child gets an opportunity to participate in competitive athletics and inter-scholastic sports. In fact, sessions are dedicated to sports, games and activities.

 Vehicle Facility:Giving utmost importance to the convenience and security of the students, the school facilitates bus transport from every remote area of the surrounding villages. The charges and conditions for the same may be obtained from the admin office.

 Health and Medical Care:To ensure the physical well being of the students’ adequate facilities for health and medical care are offered. The school provides the services of medical practitioners for regular check up and health monitoring.
