The Student Council inauguration of Dr. NSAM PU College, Nitte took place on 6th July, 2024 at Sadananda, NMAMIT Campus, Nitte.This event marked the official start of the new academic year and the induction of newly elected student council members. Shri. A. Yogeesh Hegde, Director (CM&D) Nitte was the chief guest. Prof. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal NMAMIT inaugurated the Student Council by lighting the lamp and pinned the badges. The ceremony coincided with an Award function where outstanding students of 2023-24 academic year were recognized. Mr. Naman V Shetty was felicitated for securing the 95th rank in KCET, achieving a 99.48 percentile in JEE MAIN, and earning the 2753rd rank in JEE (Advanced). Ms. Sannidhi Shetty was felicitated for scoring 588/600 and securing the 10th rank in the II PUC Annual Examination. Other top performers were also acknowledged for their achievements in the II PUC Annual examination and various competitive exams.Shri. A. Yogeesh Hegde emphasized that success comes to those who strive for it. He encouraged students to focus on competitive examinations. Prof. Chiplunkar extended his best wishes and highlighted family values in his address. Ms. Bhavani Shetty, Principal, Dr. NSAM PU College, Nitte, welcomed the gathering and Dr. Prakash Shenoy, Vice Principal, proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Sunil V, Lecturer in Commerce coordinated the program.
