Nestled amidst verdant greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of city life yet conveniently accessible, MES BRS PU College embarked on its educational odyssey in 2006. As a sibling institution to MES Main College, it holds a cherished position within the esteemed Mysore Education Society. The college pays homage to the illustrious Prof. B R Subba Rao, a revered educationist and a cornerstone in the foundation of MES. Prof. Subba Rao’s legacy includes serving as the inaugural Principal of MES College since its establishment in 1956.

The genesis of MES BRS PU College traces back to the establishment of MES KKPS. In response to the impassioned pleas of local residents, the management, under the stewardship of Sri. K.P. Surendranath (Rtd. IAS), who presided as the President of MES at the time, resolved to establish a PU College in Vidyaranyapura. Guided by vision and commitment, the management meticulously crafted the college, which swiftly earned acclaim for its commitment to excellence.

COMBINATION

Our MES BRS PU College is affiliated with the Department of School Education (Pre-University), adhering to NCERT guidelines. Our curriculum is in alignment with Karnataka state government directives. Exams are conducted by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB). Combinations and annual activities are subject to approval by government officials, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and standards.”
