ABOUT US
The Bharath Electronics PU College was established on 19th June 1981 and inaugurated by Shri. Shankar Rao, Hon. Education Minister, Karnataka Govt. in the presence of Shri. N L Krishnan, MD, BEL. BEL PU College was the first to offer Electronics as an optional subject in the Karnataka state by the efforts of the Managing Committee.
We take pride in imparting quality education to the children of the BEL factory employees and also of the local residents. The best of teaching and infrastructure is made available while keeping the fee reasonably low.
The lush green campus, well-equipped class rooms along with other facilities like Science Laboratories, Library, Auditorium, playfield provide students a complete learning environment. The campus is equipped with CC cameras at strategic locations enables keeping the premises under strict surveillance.
The College offers courses in the fields of Science, Commerce and Humanities for the students to prepare them for the competitive world of today. With over 640 students engaged in various pursuits the college campus is a vibrant and stimulating place.
Over and above academics, we also encourage, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our Senior Division NCC for Boys and Senior Wing NCC for Girls shape students and ensure the all-round development of their personalities. We set high standards in areas of learning, strength of character, human and social values, discipline and societal awareness.
We are sure that our students will step into the world adequately equipped in both capability and character and will be poised to achieve success in their endeavours.
FACILITIES
Bharath Electronics PU College Campus is a sprawling, green and well-maintained campus with all necessary facilities like an auditorium, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, science laboratories, computer labs and a library. The entire campus is under 24×7 CCTV surveillance systems to ensure safety for all students. The campus offers the students an ideal environment to support their academic and other pursuits.
COURSES OFFERED
PU courses are conducted and managed by the College in accordance with the norms of the Karnataka Pre-university Board.
Each Student has to study:
Part A – Languages 1 : Kannada/Sanskrit/Hindi
Language 2 : English
Part B – Four Core Subjects in the chosen area of specialization.
