Alva’s Pre University College started its historic journey in 1998 with the vision of moulding a better tomorrow. Today, Alva’s has not only become a household name, but also a synonym for excellence, expertise, eminence and efficiency. Alva’s P.U College has stood out to be a very special educational institution having carved a niche for itself in a short span. In the course of fulfilling its vision, the college has made remarkable achievements and emerged as one of the premier institutions of the nation.

We are proud to say that within 23 years of our journey in the field of education, we could give Pre-University education to more than 47,000 students. The integrated pedagogy of education and the conducive atmosphere given to the students could fulfill the dream of around 3,000 students to pursue their Medical Education and become Doctors and thousands of students could enter into Technical Education. Apart from these, plenty of students have become Charted Accountants and a few have entered into Civil Service also.

At present, the college is imparting quality education through a holistic study environment. Alva’s P.U methodology successfully bridges the gap between the Board exam and all other competitive exams under one umbrella and thus, a fresh chapter has begun in the pre university stream. Alva’s Education Foundation has come up with some innovative learning methodologies that would make each individual to face the challenges of the world. The futuristic vision of Dr Mohan Alva, the chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation always keeps the students ahead. His farsightedness, hard work, dedication and humane qualities have set a new world class education system.

There is a regular college bus conveyance facility to the students towards college and hostels.

Alva’s Ayurveda Hospital

This is a unique facility in Alva’s campus. Students can avail medical care at any moment within the campus from specialist doctors.

Central Library

The college campus has a spacious library with a well-furnished reading hall. There is a large collection of reference books, journals and periodicals to quench the thirst of knowledge. There is internet access to the students supervised by the librarians. The library will be open from 5.00 AM to 11.00 PM every day including Sundays.

Alva’s Cafeteria is a spacious and comfortable refreshment centre at the heart of the campus with a traditional architecture and style. Fresh and healthy South Indian vegetarian food varieties are available for the students at a reasonable price.

Auditorium

There is a large indoor auditorium within the campus for conducting seminars, workshops and conferences. Apart from that, there are open theatres and conference halls dedicated for literary and cultural programmes with a seating capacity of several thousands.
